Kingdom Global Initiative

How many of you believe that God has a vision and intentional plan for the nations of the earth?

The nations of the earth are populated with people from all walks of life.

Different colours, different languages, and different ethnicities, but we are all the expression of God’s creatorial power (Making us in his image & his likeness – Gen 1:27)

Ephesians 1:11 says “God, the king of Glory works all things after the counsel of his own will”

So, God (absolutely) has a vision for the nations of the earth

This vision (I’m speaking about) God began in Eden and it will (essentially) ultimately end in the form of a new government of a new heaven and a new earth.

Where NEW JERUSALEM will come down!  And Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords…

“Where the Kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ”

So the ultimate vision that God has is for all nations to be submitted to HIS KINGDOM and HIS RULE!

AND WE ARE FIRM IN THIS BELIEF!!

We (on this side of the pasture) call ourselves Kingdom Global Initiative where “The Gospel of the Kingdom belongs everywhere” because as a people we understand the (local, regional, national and international)…. “EKKLESIA CALLING” to populate the earth with the culture of the Kingdom of God by permeating it with  (The Love, Light, & Life of Christ) causing us to be “THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD & SALT OF THE EARTH”

We are called to take authority and take dominion (According to Gen 1:28).

“To Subdue the earth, be fruitful and multiply, subjugate it and bring it under the obedience of Christ!”

Yes! We as believers we have Authority!

Authority & Power in Christ over sickness, disease, demonic principalities and much more

But that authority was never intended for abuse, control, manipulation, taring down, or destroying others.

Jesus says “All authority in heaven and earth is given to me”

(So) The ONLY reason why we have authority is because (The Spirit of Christ) living in you HAS AUTHORITY

Christ completed a perfect work on the cross on earth as done in heaven.

On Earth, we see a man slain on an old rugged cross on

But (in heaven) we see Christ is a lamb “slain before the foundations of the world”

So then Christ is glorified by his father and Christ has authority in heaven and earth.

And those who believe in him (Those who have faith) will have “The abundant life!”

And Part of that “Abundant life” is Authority in Christ

But understand, the abundant life in Christ comes in following his Command, his Commission & his Responsibility

  1. Command (Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul & strength) MATT 22
  2. Commission (Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptize them and teach them to obey all that I have commanded you) MATT 28
  3. Responsibility (Now, Here is where we struggle the most!)

We know to love God and love people!

We know to preach the gospel to the nations

But we don’t often know how to Materialize the kingdom culture outside of the Spiritual virtues such as (Preaching, singing during worship, witnessing to others and having baptism services).

Meaning… We know how to come to church on Sunday

But we often miss our assignment on how to BE THE CHURCH ON MONDAY

SO HOW DO WE REPRESENT THE CULTURE OF THE KINGDOM?

Here are a few scriptures that clarify that for us…

  • Isaiah 1:17
  • Learn to do what is good.
  • Pursue justice.
  • Correct the oppressor.
  • Defend the rights of the fatherless.
  • Plead the widow’s cause.

In the synoptic gospels, Jesus taught us (5) predominate ways to live

  1. Love & Serve Others
  2. Chastity before marriage & Fidelity during marriage
  3. How to raise children
  4. How to pray
  5. How to refrain from lying and stealing

And finally, the further teachings of Peter to the believers

1 Peter 2:11-17

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.

12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,

14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.

15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.

17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

The bible essentially is replete of clear terms of how believers should live both in and out of the church and how we should respond to the societal degradation we see today.
